Andrea Wytish | Yoga Teacher | Sol Luna Life
Andrea (often called Dre) has been immersed in movement for most of her life.
She first fell in love with dance at the age of two and a half when she took her first dance class. Over the years she trained in ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, and more — competing and performing across the country. For a few memorable years in her teens, she even performed as Elmo at Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Alongside dance, Andrea became deeply involved in competitive cheerleading, eventually cheering and coaching at the collegiate level while attending Temple University, where she earned a major in Communications and a minor in Dance Movement & Theory.
Her professional movement career continued in New York City where she became an ACE-certified Group Fitness Instructor, teaching dance-based fitness classes at Bally’s Total Fitness (now LA Fitness.)
Years later, Andrea’s movement journey led her to a new passion: yoga.
She completed her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification in 2019, beginning her teaching career in yoga studios across New York City before eventually returning to her hometown in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where she now teaches classes, workshops, and special events.
In 2023, feeling called to deepen her studies, Andrea began advanced training within the Swami Kailashananda (Yogi Gupta) lineage under Sri Dharma Mittra, often affectionately referred to as the “teacher’s teacher.” This classical system of yoga draws from the Eight Limbs of Yoga and emphasizes a balanced practice of asana, pranayama, meditation, and self-study.
She has completed both 200HR in Vinyasa and 500HR Dharma Yoga teacher trainings and continues her studies through the 800HR Life of a Yogi program, which explores the deeper philosophical and spiritual dimensions of yoga.
Andrea’s work sits at the intersection of movement, awareness, and everyday life. Drawing from decades of experience in dance, yoga, and wellness practices, she guides students toward a more embodied way of living — one that balances activation and restoration while cultivating greater presence and clarity.
Through classes, writing, and community gatherings, her teaching invites people to reconnect with the natural rhythms of the body and nervous system, bringing the wisdom of yoga beyond the mat and into daily life.
In addition to her yoga training, Andrea holds a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell University (eCornell) and continues to study breathwork, movement science, and holistic wellness practices.
As both a teacher and lifelong student, she regularly attends workshops, trainings, and continuing education programs to deepen her understanding and share these insights with her students.
She considers it an honor to support others on their journey of movement, awareness, and conscious living.
